See all your accounts and their current balances in one overview:
- The balances are shown in the currency of the account.
- Negative balance amounts (money you owe or debts) are shown in red.
- Balance amounts not included in the Total balance are shown in italics.
Total balance
The total balance amount is in standard currency. Any recalculations of account balances in other currencies is done automatically. You can change the standard currency via the Settings screen.
You might want the total balance to only show how much money you can spend. In that case you can exclude some account balances, like your mortgage, from this total. To achieve that you uncheck the “Include in total balance option” in the Account details (shown below).
Account details
Tap on a row in the Accounts screen to see the details of that account. Swipe left or right to go to the details of the next or previous account in the list.
In this screen you will find the same fields as on the ‘Add new account’ screen. Plus:
- The date on which the account balance was last updated. The current balance you see on the screen is calculated by using the previously entered or imported balance value plus all transactions since. But a transaction you missed or entered incorrectly can cause a wrong balance. For that reason, check the Balance amount at least once a year against your bank statement or the actual contents of your wallet en update if needed.
- Update balance button. Set a new balance amount on a date you choose via this separate screen.
- The date of the last transaction of this account.
